Dr. Suresh Rao KG is the Co‑Director of the Institute of Heart & Lung Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support at MGM Healthcare, Chennai. With nearly 30 years of clinical experience, he specializes in cardiac critical care, heart and lung transplantations, LVAD implantation, ECMO initiation, management of congenital heart disease, postoperative care, and trans‑oesophageal echocardiography. He has presented numerous papers and published in high‑ranking medical journals. His notable contributions include anesthetic management of India's first successful Norwood procedure and several first‑in‑India procedures such as HeartMate 2 and HVAD implants.
