Dr. (Colonel) Avnish Seth, VSM, is a highly decorated gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 35 years of clinical experience. An Armed Forces Medical College alumnus, he pioneered the first successful liver transplant program in a Government hospital (Army Hospital, Delhi). Awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India (2009), he has over 100 publications and is a recognised authority on liver diseases, GI endoscopy, and organ donation in India. He serves on apex committees like NOTTO and MOHAN Foundation, shaping national policy on organ & tissue donation.
