Dr. Devananda N S is a senior cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with over 28 years of experience and serves as the HOD at Manipal Hospitals, Old Airport Road. He has performed more than 10,000 open-heart surgeries and 7,000 paediatric/adult cardiac surgeries, including highly complex cases from infants weighing 900gms to elderly patients aged 90 years. Renowned for precision and patient-centric care, he is also credited with successfully removing a rare PNET tumour from the heart. Fluent in Kannada, English, and Hindi, he is widely regarded as one of the top cardiac surgeons in India.
