Dr. J K A Jameel is a senior consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon practicing at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. With more than 22 years of experience, including 14 years in the UK. He also holds various international accreditations. Dr. Jameel holds FRCS from England, Edinburgh and Glasgow FACS and FICS from the USA. His Higher Surgical training programme in reputed institutions in the UK has given him immense experience in a wide variety of Gastrointestinal  Surgical operations with special emphasis on Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr. J K A Jameel has also undergone Robotic Surgical training at the University College Hospitals, London. He successfully obtained the CCT (Certificate of Completion of UK training) and was practicing as a Consultant Surgeon in the National Health Service, UK before returning to India.
