Dr Kumud Rai

Dr. (Col) Kumud Rai is one of India’s most respected vascular and endovascular surgeons with over four decades of experience. Currently serving as Principal Director of Vascular Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, he has pioneered several advancements in vascular and endovascular techniques in the country. A former President of the Vascular Society of India, Dr. Rai has trained numerous vascular surgeons and led major academic initiatives in the field. His vast experience includes leadership roles at premier institutions like AFMC Pune and Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi. Renowned for his precision, innovation, and dedication, Dr. Rai is widely regarded as a pioneer in modern vascular surgery in India.

  • MS (Surgery) – Pune University (1984)
