Apollo Hospitals Announces Apollo Information Center In Kushtia, Bangladesh

In another special initiative, Apollo Hospitals Group- India in association with Bangla Health Connect announced a representative office in Kushtia. This was announced by Mr. Md. Anwar Ali, Mayor Of Kushtia. The Mayor complimented the Apollo team and Mr. Tanvir Islam on connecting Kushtia to the largest healthcare provider in Afro-Asia. Speaking at the event, the Mayor stated that healthcare services have an increased responsibility, particularly in light of the evolving noncommunicable disease scenario, and that such initiatives are required to provide the patient community with ease of access whenever they decide to travel to India for healthcare. Mr. Jithu Jose, Vice President of Apollo Hospitals' International Division, detailed the gathering at the services and thanked the Mayor and other dignitaries on behalf of Apollo Hospitals.
This center will act as a liaison for patient community to connect with Apollo Hospitals Chennai, the headquarters of India’s Apollo Hospitals Group. Mr. Shafeeq Azam, Chairman of Bangla Health Connect stated that hassle free access to Asia’s healthcare powerhouse for patient community and onsite clinical awareness programs will be offered through this center. He further remarked that the center will also offer Tele health services. The Apollo team also had Dr Joy Varghese, senior neurosurgeon who conducted a health awareness session on advancements in neuro interventions. This was at a colorful event organized by Bangla Health Connect in association with Sabah Tours & Travels. The function started with a video presentation of Apollo Hospitals.
