Dr. Poonam Guha Vaze is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon practising at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, Kolkata. She received a gold medal during her undergraduate medical studies and a silver medal during her postgraduate (MS) training. She completed her M.Ch in Paediatric Surgery and obtained Membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (England).
Her clinical work is centred on paediatric surgery, including neonatal surgery and paediatric urology. Her academic interests are reflected through her talks and publications on paediatric urodynamics, posterior urethral valves, and congenital gastrointestinal conditions. She is involved in the management of paediatric urological and urinary-related conditions. Dr. Vaze is multilingual and communicates with patients and families in multiple languages.
